Filing a notice of infringement
To submit a copyright complaint, send a written notice to our designated agent at the address below. Under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act, your notice must include all of the following:
- A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner, or a person authorised to act on their behalf.
- Identification of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed. If several works are covered by one notice, a representative list of them.
- Identification of the material you claim is infringing, described precisely enough that we can locate it. Please include the exact URL of the page and, where relevant, a description of the specific element on that page.
- Your contact information: full name, mailing address, telephone number and email address.
- A statement that you have a good faith belief that the disputed use is not authorised by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or are authorised to act on their behalf.

What happens next
We review every complete notice we receive. Where a claim appears valid, we will remove or disable access to the material, usually within [3] business days of receiving the notice, and we will notify the person who posted it where that applies.
An incomplete notice slows everything down. If your notice is missing any of the six items above, we may ask you to resubmit it before we can act.
Counter notification
If your material was removed and you believe that was a mistake or a misidentification, you may send us a counter notice containing:
- Your physical or electronic signature.
- Identification of the material that was removed and the location where it appeared before removal.
- A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that you have a good faith belief the material was removed as a result of a mistake or misidentification.
- Your full name, address and telephone number, and a statement consenting to the jurisdiction of the appropriate court, and that you will accept service of process from the party who filed the original notice.
Send counter notices to the same address.
We may forward a counter notice to the original complainant. If they do not file a court action within the period the law allows, we may restore the removed material.
A caution about false claims
Knowingly making a material misrepresentation in a copyright notice or counter notice can carry legal liability, including damages and legal costs. Please make sure your claim is accurate before filing.
